Today, a meeting took place between the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Masato Kanda, the President of the Asian Development Bank.
At the beginning of the conversation, Japarov emphasized the long-term relationship between his country and the ADB, as well as the successful implementation of a number of key projects in various sectors of the economy.
Discussing the positive trends in the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan, the president noted that suitable conditions are being created in the country for the implementation of major infrastructure initiatives.
In this context, he highlighted transport projects that will help Kyrgyzstan become a "regional hub," and also mentioned the energy and agricultural sectors as priorities for further cooperation.
Masato Kanda, for his part, confirmed the ADB's readiness to support projects in the fields of green energy, agriculture, tourism, and transport infrastructure.
In addition, the ADB president expressed confidence that the successful implementation of these initiatives and active cooperation with Kyrgyzstan will positively impact the living standards of the citizens of this country.
