Sadyr Japarov met with China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi

On November 19, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, met with Wang Yi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China and a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The president's press service reported that during this meeting, aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including the improvement of political dialogue and the implementation of joint initiatives.

Japarov noted that Kyrgyz-Chinese relations have reached a historic level, emphasizing that each visit by Wang Yi brings new ideas for the development of strategic partnership between the two countries.

The president also highlighted practical cooperation, including road construction projects, the opening of new air routes, and other joint initiatives.

Additionally, he underscored the importance of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the SCO and the "Central Asia - China" format.

In turn, Wang Yi conveyed greetings from the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and expressed readiness to actively work towards achieving the agreements previously reached between the leaders of the two countries.

The minister noted that his previous visit to Kyrgyzstan took place three years ago, and during this time, the country has achieved significant progress, adding that China, as a good neighbor, sincerely rejoices in this.

Wang Yi highly appreciated the level of cooperation and good neighborliness, and also drew the attention of Chinese companies to the need to comply with legislation and respect the traditions of Kyrgyzstan.

At the end of the meeting, President Japarov conveyed his best wishes to Xi Jinping, and Wang Yi wished success in his state activities.
