According to the president's press service, the head of state was presented with a sketch of the updated park, which will cover an area of almost 5 hectares. The project includes comfortable conditions for visitors, the installation of attractions, and landscaping of the area.
Ermat Jumayev, the presidential representative in the Talas region, informed Japarov that the reconstruction work on the park began in June of this year. The park had not been updated for 17 years, and the attractions that were in operation were dismantled in 2008 due to wear and tear.
Additionally, the president reviewed plans for the reconstruction of the alley named after K. Nurzhanov. As part of this project, the alley will feature shops, a library, relaxation areas, sports grounds, and a fountain. There are also plans to display exhibits dedicated to the writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. The completion of the reconstruction work on the alley is scheduled for July 2026.
At the end of his visit, Sadyr Japarov inspected new specialized equipment purchased for the city of Talas and the surrounding areas. A total of 42 units of equipment were presented, including front loaders, concrete mixers, and asphalt pavers.
