Sadyr Japarov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia, Alexey Overchuk

Today, November 11, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with Alexey Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, covering trade, economic, and cultural aspects.

President Japarov noted the positive changes in political relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan and congratulated Overchuk on the successful organization of the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission held in Bishkek.

Discussing multilateral ties, the head of state emphasized the active participation of Kyrgyzstan and Russia in integration structures such as the EAEU, CIS, CSTO, and SCO.

Alexey Overchuk, in turn, highlighted the importance of Kyrgyzstan as a strategic partner of Russia in Central Asia. He noted that bilateral cooperation is built on the principles of mutual respect, shared history, and trust.

Furthermore, Overchuk reported on the growth in the volume of mutual trade operations and cargo transportation, confirming Russia's readiness to further strengthen allied relations and develop cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
