The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Imangaziev, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Egypt to Kyrgyzstan, Hassan Rakha Ibtissam.
During the conversation, key aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed. One significant point was the opening of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Cairo, which was characterized as an important step towards deepening partnership relations between the two countries. The Kyrgyz side also expressed gratitude to the Egyptian side for their support in organizing the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, which took place on the territory of Egypt.
Particular attention was paid by the meeting participants to measures for protecting the rights of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Egypt who are in the territories of both countries. Issues regarding the improvement of consular and migration procedures were discussed to create more comfortable conditions for citizens' stay.
The parties emphasized the need for active and constructive interaction between the relevant agencies for the further development of cooperation on mutually interesting issues.
