On December 17, a meeting took place in Bishkek, during which the Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Seitik Jumakadyrov, met with the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the country, Nazirmad Alizoda.
During the meeting, the parties discussed various aspects of Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation in the consular field, in particular, the implementation of the instructions from the leaders of both states regarding the establishment of consulates general in Osh and Khujand.
Special attention was given to issues of operational interaction concerning the protection of the rights of citizens of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of further active cooperation and expressed their readiness to strengthen consular ties.
