During the meeting between Lkhagvajav Baatarjav, the President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia, and Khayrullo Ibodzoda, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, important issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

During the conversation, the parties reviewed the results of the Mongolia-Tajikistan business forum held in July 2025, as well as the growth of trade turnover and the potential for further expansion of partnership between the two countries.

Ambassador Ibodzoda pointed out significant opportunities for cooperation in areas such as agriculture, tourism, and food, and proposed ways for interaction between entrepreneurs of both countries. He also expressed interest in breeding Mongolian yaks on Tajik soil.

President Lkhagvajav emphasized the importance of studying Tajikistan's experience in managing water and energy resources, referring to the Rogun and Nurek hydroelectric power stations. He highlighted that Tajikistan is a key supplier of water resources for Central Asia, and its glaciers play a strategic role in ensuring sustainable development and water security in the region, feeding rivers such as the Amu Darya and Syr Darya.

According to him, the parties intend to continue deepening cooperation in the management of water resources, energy, agriculture, and business, with the aim of elevating economic relations to a new level.
