During the meeting, Minister Batzetszeg confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Central Asian states, among which Tajikistan holds a special place. She noted that in recent years there has been a stable political dialogue contributing to deeper relations between the countries. The minister also discussed opportunities for joint work in areas such as agriculture, light industry, and renewable energy sources, and expressed support for initiatives to implement joint projects.
In turn, Ambassador Khayrullo Ibodzada emphasized the significance of deepening friendly ties and activating economic cooperation between Mongolia and Tajikistan. He also stressed that convening the first meeting of the Mongolia-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Commission will be an important step in expanding bilateral relations.
