In Bishkek, at the CAREC business forum, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, met with Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan. During this meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries were discussed, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
One of the key issues was achieving the ambitious goal of increasing mutual trade turnover to $2 billion, set by the heads of state of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The ministers also discussed upcoming events aimed at activating business contacts and developing investment partnerships. In particular, joint projects in areas such as industry, transport logistics, agriculture, and energy were considered.
