Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to increase mutual trade to $2 billion

During the business forum of CAREC in Bishkek, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Sydykov, met with the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov.

During the meeting, they discussed the current state and future of Kyrgyz-Uzbek economic cooperation. The main focus was on achieving the goal set by the leaders of the two countries — to increase the volume of mutual trade to 2 billion US dollars.

The parties also discussed preparations for upcoming joint events aimed at expanding business contacts and improving investment interaction. Additionally, they reviewed promising projects in areas such as industry, transport logistics, agriculture, and energy.
