In his statement published on Truth Social, Trump noted: “I am pleased to announce a significant trade and economic agreement with Uzbekistan. Over the next three years, the country will invest about $35 billion, and over ten years this amount will exceed $100 billion, covering important American sectors such as mining, aviation, auto parts manufacturing, agriculture, and others. I express my gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We look forward to long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries!”
The agreements were signed following a roundtable held on November 6, attended by President Mirziyoyev and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Latnik, during which Uzbek companies and government institutions concluded several agreements with American partners.
Among the signed documents, the following can be highlighted:
- An agreement on joint work for the production of rare earth elements between the Ministry of Geology and Denali Exploration Group;
- An agreement on the implementation of projects in the field of rare earth metals between the Reconstruction and Development Fund of Uzbekistan and Re Element Technologies;
- An agreement on the modernization of pumping stations between the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade and Flowserve;
- An agreement on the implementation of water-saving technologies between the Ministry of Agriculture and Valmont Industries Inc;
- An agreement to strengthen cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and Palo Alto Networks;
- A contract for the supply of aircraft between Uzbekistan Airways and Boeing, which increases the firm order for Boeing 787−9 Dreamliner from 14 to 22 units;
- A contract for the supply of soybeans and meal between Datacrop (Uzbekistan) and Luis Dreyfus Company (USA);
- A contract for the supply of cotton between "Uzsanoatexport" and Cargill.
