The meeting will take place in Moscow on November 17 and 18, 2025. Prime Minister Zandan Shatar will hold talks with the Chairman of the Government of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin, as well as with the Premier of the State Council of China, Li Qiang.
During the meeting, Zandan Shatar Gombojav was welcomed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mongolia to Russia, Enkh tuvshin Olziisaihan, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Mikhail Yuryevich Galuzin, and the Director of the Department of State Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Igor Viktorovich Bogdashev.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, founded in 2001 by China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, currently includes 27 countries that are members, observers, and dialogue partners. Mongolia holds the status of one of the two observer countries in this organization.
