In the Batken region, in the village of Samarkandek, a new enterprise has opened that processes fruits. According to information from the local administration, the production capacity of the enterprise allows for the processing of up to 2 tons of fruits daily.
This initiative belongs to a local entrepreneur and includes several stages of processing: the fruits are first washed using special equipment, then dried, and packaged.
The raw materials needed for processing are purchased from local gardeners. The finished products are sold both in local stores and exported to Kazakhstan and Russia. The new enterprise employs 12 people.
The launch of the enterprise was timed to coincide with the celebration of Independence Day, which took place on August 31. The total investment amounted to about 20 million soms.
Currently, there are two such processing enterprises operating in the Batken region, and another one is planned to open in the near future.
