Important changes to the rules of quarantine phytosanitary control in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union have been introduced by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. This information was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The changes are aimed at creating more favorable conditions for honest market participants, as well as increasing transparency and efficiency in control in this area.
In particular, the new regulations include measures that will help prevent the inaccurate indication of recipients of quarantine products in phytosanitary certificates. This, in turn, should reduce the number of violations and improve the tracking of goods movement within the Union.
The updates are also aimed at enhancing the level of control and improving quarantine phytosanitary safety across the entire EAEU space. The implementation of these measures will contribute to the protection of agriculture, the prevention of the spread of quarantine objects, and ensuring the stability of the common market.
