German logistics giant Rhenus may enter Kyrgyzstan



On February 10 of this year, a meeting took place in Berlin between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and Heinrich Kerstgens, a representative of the management of the company "Rhenus SE". The main focus of the meeting was on discussing the potential for cooperation in the field of logistics and transportation.

As clarified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, during the negotiations, special attention was paid to the development of the country's railway infrastructure and the creation of modern logistics and container centers. The chances of "Rhenus Logistics" participating in the implementation of various infrastructure projects and expanding its activities in Kyrgyzstan were also discussed.

As a result of the negotiations, both sides expressed interest in further developing cooperation and continuing practical consultations on joint projects.
