The deputies adopted the bill on breeding livestock

During the session of the Jogorku Kenesh, a bill titled "On Breeding in Livestock of the Kyrgyz Republic" was adopted in the third reading.

This project was initiated by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Bakyt Tentishev, who heads the committee on agrarian policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection, presented information about the bill.

The bill aims to improve legislation in the field of breeding, with the main goal of creating conditions for the further growth of breeding livestock. Additionally, it includes the development of supplementary regulations that should eliminate existing gaps in the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Also during the session, the bill "On Geodesy, Cartography, and Spatial Data" was reviewed and adopted in the second reading.

The Cabinet of Ministers also initiated this bill. As part of its implementation, a number of new terms are introduced, such as "geoinformation systems" and "geoinformation technologies." Furthermore, the powers of state bodies and local self-government are clarified. The bill provides for the mandatory use of spatial data and materials from the state fund of spatial data, as well as information from a unified electronic cartographic base for the needs of state bodies and local self-government in processing spatial data.
