During his speech in the Jogorku Kenesh, President Sadyr Japarov urged members of parliament, ministers, and builders to focus on the development of domestic production.
He emphasized the importance of reducing the level of imports and creating a balanced system between exports and imports.
“Previously, the ratio was such that 30% of products were exported, while 70% were imported. Currently, imports have decreased to 60%. For example, a new fish feed production plant has opened in Kara-Balta, allowing local fish farmers to purchase quality feed that meets European standards,” the president noted.
Japarov added that earlier construction materials were imported from abroad, but now a number of them are produced in the country and even exported.
