A meeting took place in Bishkek, attended by the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, and the Ambassador of South Korea to Kyrgyzstan, Kim Kwang-jae.
According to the ministry, Sydykov emphasized that Korea is a valuable partner for Kyrgyzstan, with which there is intensive cooperation in various fields.
The minister also noted that Korea's experience in implementing modern technologies in the economy could serve as a basis for determining future directions of bilateral interaction and contribute to the socio-economic progress of Kyrgyzstan.
Ambassador Kim Kwang-jae spoke positively about the measures taken by the Kyrgyz government in the area of economic growth, the implementation of investment projects, and the transition to a sustainable "green" economy.
During the discussion, the parties considered plans to expand the range of goods and services in trade, as well as new ways to strengthen economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea.
