"Kumtor Gold Company" has published information about the amount of gold extracted and changes in its cost price.
Recent statements by certain individuals that the extraction volumes at Kumtor have decreased and the costs for gold have increased prompted the company to clarify these issues.

Company representatives noted that recently the conditions for mining operations at the mine have become more complicated, making the gold extraction process more difficult.

Among the reasons for the increase in cost price, the well-known geopolitical events of recent years are also mentioned, which contributed to a 50% increase in prices for fuel and lubricants, and a 70% increase for reagents and chemicals.

Additionally, a significant increase in costs was driven by complicated logistics and increased transportation expenses by 106.4%. The cost of spare parts for heavy mining and auxiliary equipment has also risen by 30%. "If previously the delivery of cargo took three weeks, now this process takes up to three months," the company specified.

Furthermore, in recent years, the cost of electricity for the mine has increased by 92%.

Taking into account all the aforementioned factors, in 2025, the cost price of gold, including all taxes and other deductions, amounted to 1,884 USD per ounce. Over the past year, 388,418 ounces were extracted, which corresponds to 12,081 kg of gold.

The minimum selling price of gold at the beginning of 2025 was 2,882.7 USD, while the maximum price reached 4,612.95 USD by the end of the year. The average selling price was 3,711 USD.

The company's revenue in 2025 amounted to 1 billion 434.6 million USD, with a net profit of 706 million 81 thousand USD. A total of 246 million 507 thousand USD was paid in taxes and other payments," reported "Kumtor Gold Company."
