
In Kyrgyzstan, 11 cooperatives are actively engaged in the production of organic goods. This was reported by Mukhtar Chynaliev, the director of the department of processing industry and organic agriculture, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee. He also noted that currently about 30 enterprises are in the process of preparing to transition to organic production.
Since 2022, organic product producers have received preferential loans, the total amount of which is approximately 300 million soms.
Chynaliev emphasized that Kyrgyz nuts are one of the most well-known organic products of the country and are exported to more than 30 countries, including the USA, European countries, Russia, and South Korea.
