
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has provided updated official exchange rates for foreign currencies against the som as of the morning of March 17.
Based on the regulator's information, the following rates have been established:
U.S. Dollar (USD) — 87.45 soms;
Euro (EUR) — 100.07 soms; (slight decrease)
Russian Ruble (RUB) — 1.08 soms; (decrease)
Kazakh Tenge (KZT) — 0.17 soms;
Chinese Yuan (CNY) — 12.67 soms. (slight increase)
In commercial banks in Bishkek, the dollar is purchased on average for 87.40 soms and sold for 87.80 soms. The Russian ruble can be bought on average for 1.06 soms, while its selling price is 1.10 soms.
