The Center for Standardization Tightens Measures for Certification Experts

The Center for Standardization and Metrology (CSM) under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced new measures regarding certification experts. These changes were initiated in accordance with the government decree dated February 28, 2023, No. 107.

The Ministry of Economy emphasized that in case of non-compliance with the established rules and procedures related to product conformity assessment, sanctions may be applied, including suspension or revocation of the competence certificate.

The main reasons for revoking certificates include: the invalidation of two or more certificates of conformity, failure to perform work on conformity assessment, refusal of inspection control, and the submission of false documents.

CSM strongly recommends that experts strictly adhere to all requirements and procedures, as well as the technical regulations of the Customs Union and the EAEU. Compliance with these norms is aimed at ensuring high product quality, its safety, and strengthening trust in the national conformity assessment system.
