The moratorium on business inspections did not affect three agencies - head of the MEC

During a live broadcast on Birinchi Radio, the Minister of Economy and Commerce, Bakyt Sydykov, stated that the presidential moratorium on business inspections does not apply to three key agencies. According to him, the restrictions do not concern the Tax and Customs Services, as well as the Civil Aviation Agency.

“On March 14, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on a temporary moratorium on inspections of entrepreneurs aimed at supporting and developing business. According to this decree, inspections conducted by state control bodies will be limited until December 31 of this year. However, the Tax Service, Customs Service, and Civil Aviation Agency continue their work in full capacity, and the moratorium does not apply to them,” the minister clarified. Sydykov also noted that one of the innovations of the decree is the introduction of the concepts of “friendly inspection” and “friendly audit.”

“This means that in the case of inspections initiated by complaints or in the interests of state security, entrepreneurs will be provided with consultation, and fines and other punitive measures will be limited,” he added.
