At the first meeting of the new VIII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh, the deputies approved the composition of the parliament.
Chyngyz Ajibayev was elected as the first vice-speaker from the “Eldik” deputy group.
In addition, the vice-speakers appointed are Zhyldyz Taalaibek kyzy from the “Adilet Kyrgyzstan” group and Karim Khandzheza from “Mekenchil”.
As a result of a secret ballot, 87 deputies expressed their opinions on the candidates for the vice-speaker positions, of which 82 supported the nominations, while 5 voted against.
