Sadyr Japarov addressed the first meeting of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the VIII convocation. What did the president talk about?

Today, December 17, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, addressed the deputies of the new VIII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh at their first meeting.

Members of the government of Kyrgyzstan were also present at the meeting. The first to speak was Tynchtyk Shainazarov, the chairman of the Central Election Commission, who presented the election results. After that, the newly elected deputies took the oath.
In his address, President Japarov congratulated the deputies on their election, noting that they are now representatives of the people and are obliged to serve them faithfully. He expressed hope that they would remain true to their commitments and work for the benefit of the state.
According to the president, the new parliament represents a unique structure formed based on modern laws and having gone through a popular selection process. He also reminded them of the important historical context of Kyrgyz parliamentarism, starting with the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and the establishment of the Jogorku Kenesh, which became the foundation for the democratic development of the country.
The president emphasized that previous parliaments faced many problems, including political corruption and disagreements between branches of power, which led to their dissolution. He recalled how in 2010 a parliamentary form of government was introduced, but this was also accompanied by an increase in corruption and abuses.
Japarov pointed out the need for reforms in personnel policy, noting that there is a high demand for qualified specialists in the country. In this context, he mentioned the establishment of the "Akyilman" school in Cholpon-Ata, which is aimed at training future personnel for state needs.
Currently, 260 talented children from all over the country are studying at the "Akyilman" lyceum, and in the future, it is planned to open such educational institutions in every region of Kyrgyzstan. This is a step towards preparing a new generation of professionals who will be able to take key positions in state management.
The president also drew attention to the need to change the approaches to the work of deputies, urging them to avoid corrupt practices and to turn to professional personnel rather than acquaintances or relatives. He noted that it is important to aim for long-term development and fair use of state resources.
In conclusion, Sadyr Japarov called on the deputies to unite for the benefit of Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the importance of transparency and honesty in the political system. He expressed confidence that with a new approach and cooperation between branches of power, the country would be able to achieve stable and sustainable development.
