In his address, Shainazarov noted that the elections of the VIII convocation, held on November 30, were organized with maximum transparency and in full compliance with the legislation. He emphasized that state structures did not use administrative resources to support or discriminate against candidates. Moreover, officials were required to have no interference in the campaigning processes.
One of the innovations, implemented for the first time in Kyrgyzstan, was remote voting, which allowed every voter to participate in the elections. The voting process concluded at 20:00, and preliminary results became available at 20:01. The entire process was broadcast live and was under public control, ensuring its complete openness.
However, despite all efforts to ensure transparency, information has emerged regarding cases of vote buying and selling, in which some candidates may be involved. This information is actively spreading on social media, and many video materials have already been collected by the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Commission is also promptly gathering information from open sources and initiating verification.
Shainazarov noted that he understands the public's concern and the calls for quick responses that are being voiced online. The Central Election Commission intends to carefully review all materials that have been submitted. Within 2-3 days, violations at polling stations, including in the 13th district, will be analyzed, and decisions will be made in strict accordance with the law.
The main task of the Commission is to make fair and justified decisions to maintain trust in the electoral system and protect the reputation of the state. During this time, Shainazarov urged citizens to remain calm and avoid hasty conclusions.
