During the election campaign, the Central Election Commission (CEC) registered 269 appeals, including complaints and reports of violations. This was reported by Tynchtyk Shainazarov, the chairman of the CEC, at a special briefing.
According to Shainazarov, the appeals are divided into several categories:
- 37 — violations of election campaigning,
- 8 — information that may tarnish the honor of candidates,
- 46 — use of administrative resources,
- 54 — possible cases of bribery of voters,
- 124 — other violations.
- 28 — violations of campaigning conditions,
- 18 — possible vote buying,
- 4 — technical malfunctions,
- 17 — other violations.
