Candidate Suyunbek Omurzakov fined for violating election campaign conditions

On November 13, the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic made a decision regarding the violation of election campaigning by a candidate for the Jogorku Kenesh. This issue was raised by the Working Group responsible for informing voters and monitoring compliance with campaign rules.

During the monitoring of social networks, the Working Group discovered that the posts of user Mahmud Abdubaliyev on Facebook contained photos and videos indicating violations committed by candidate Suyunbek Omurzakov, who represents the multi-mandate electoral district No. 10.

As a result of analyzing this data, the Working Group recommended imposing an administrative fine of 75 calculated indicators on Omurzakov, as provided for by Article 65 of the Code of Offenses.

Based on the recommendations of the Working Group, the Central Election Commission drafted a protocol on the administrative offense and imposed a fine on candidate for the Jogorku Kenesh Suyunbek Abdyldaevich Omurzakov in the amount of 75 calculated indicators.
