On November 11, the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed violations committed by candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh during the election campaign and took appropriate measures.

The working group dealing with voter information and campaign rules presented this issue to the CEC.

During the inspection, it was established that Chingiz Azamatovich Aydarbekov, a candidate from electoral district No. 21, and Torokan Beyshenbekovich Junusbekov, a candidate from district No. 25, violated the rules of election campaigning.

Monitoring of social networks confirmed that photos and videos indicating violations by Ch. Aydarbekov were posted on Facebook pages.

According to information provided by the Issyk-Ata District Police Department, T. Junusbekov also violated the rules by conducting campaigning in a mosque.

The working group, based on electoral legislation and the Code of Violations, proposed to impose a fine on the mentioned candidates.

The CEC, taking into account the recommendations of the working group, instructed to draw up a protocol against Chingiz Aydarbekov and impose a fine of 75 calculated indicators.

As for Torokan Junusbekov, he was also proposed to draw up a protocol for an administrative offense with a similar fine of 75 calculated indicators.
