At a press conference in Bishkek, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, head of the Central Election Commission, announced that since the beginning of the election campaign, the CEC has registered 261 appeals regarding possible violations of the law.
The structure of these appeals is distributed as follows:
- 124 - concern violations of election campaigning;
- 37 - are related to the dissemination of false information that discredits the candidates;
- 8 - suggest the use of administrative resources;
- 42 - concern possible bribery of voters;
- 51 - relate to other violations.
