According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Central Election Commission received 256 reports of various violations, of which 59 were registered before the start of the election campaign.
Regarding vote buying, 9 criminal cases have been initiated in this area, distributed as follows: 5 cases in Bishkek, 2 in the Chui region, and 2 in the Jalal-Abad region.
Makilov noted that active investigations are underway for each of these cases. During the process, cash, as well as materials and other physical evidence, were seized. A total of 12 individuals have been held criminally liable.
On election day, 14,000 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be deployed across the country.
