During the election campaign, 29 participants in the electoral process were fined a total of 436,500 soms. This information was announced at a briefing by member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Uzarbek Zylkibaev.

According to Zylkibaev, by November 30, the CEC's working group received 36 appeals, including complaints and statements from election participants.

Of these, 15 appeals were sent directly to the CEC, 9 through district commissions, and 12 through the coordination group for operational response (CGOR).

Among the statements, 20 concerned violations of campaign rules, 5 raised suspicions of vote buying, 2 involved the use of administrative resources, and 6 dealt with the dissemination of slander and false information about candidates. The most complaints came from Chui region (9), Batken region (8), Bishkek (6), and Issyk-Kul region (5).

“As a result, at the moment, 29 subjects of the electoral process, including candidates and their representatives, have been fined a total of 436,500 soms. The amounts of the fines vary: in most cases, they are 7,500 soms, while in some cases (for example, for slander) they are 12,500 soms,” Zylkibaev added.

Today at 8:00 Bishkek time, elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh began. The voter list includes 4 million 294 thousand 243 citizens.

There are 2,492 polling stations open in the country, and another 100 stations are operating outside the republic.

Voting will last until 20:00, and preliminary results will be announced immediately after it ends.

The final results of the elections will be summarized and officially announced by December 14.
