During the meeting, Shainazarov spoke about the preparatory activities for the upcoming elections, as well as the innovations in the voting system. He emphasized the importance of openness and transparency in the electoral process, especially in the context of increasing voter turnout.
The Secretary General and Head of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council, Dmitry Kobitsky, highlighted that Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating a high level of preparedness for the upcoming elections.
The coordinator of the group of international observers from the IPA CIS, Vatanzada Mahmadali, also reported that 36 observers, both short-term and long-term, have arrived in the country to monitor the electoral process. He added that monitoring will be conducted at a large number of polling stations.
