China's Observer Mission: The Elections Were Held in a Successful and Calm Environment, No Violations Detected
The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums published the following statement:
“According to the invitation from the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of Kyrgyzstan, the observer mission from the People's Republic of China conducted monitoring from November 27 to December 1, 2025, in preparation for the elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, which took place on November 30, 2025.
Mission members carried out their duties in strict accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, while respecting the sovereignty of the country and refraining from interfering in its internal affairs.
During their work, mission representatives met with members of the Central Election Commission, familiarized themselves with the voting procedures and preparations for the elections.
On election day, November 30, the observers visited polling stations, were present during the preparation of ballots, checked voter documents and the issuance of ballots, and monitored the voting process and vote counting.
As a result of the observation, mission members noted that the election commissions in the districts they visited timely published information about the legislation and candidates, thereby ensuring voters' access to necessary information. The election procedures were widely covered in the media.
Thus, the mission concluded that the voting was conducted lawfully, democratically, transparently, and openly, in accordance with the constitution and electoral legislation of Kyrgyzstan, as well as generally accepted norms of international law. The elections took place in a calm atmosphere, with no violations identified, which guaranteed the citizens of Kyrgyzstan the right to express their political preferences through voting.
The mission expresses gratitude to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other state structures of the Kyrgyz Republic for their support and assistance.”
