
A meeting took place in Osh between Almaz Imangaziev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Roman Svistin, the new Consul General of Russia.
During the meeting, according to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Svistin handed Imangaziev the original consular patent.
The parties discussed numerous key issues related to Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation in the consular field, including plans to establish a General Consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Sochi. Attention was given to the effective interaction between competent authorities to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of both countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of further deepening cooperation and expressed their readiness to enhance interaction in the consular sphere.
