In the Osh region, a ceremony was held during which keys to new service apartments were handed over to border guards. This information was provided by the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The solemn event was attended by Kamchybek Tashiev, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as Abdikarim Alimbaev, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security and Director of the Border Service, along with representatives of local authorities and law enforcement agencies.

The new residential complex was built at the high-altitude and remote border outpost "Karamyk" of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh region.

The modern building includes 18 one-room and 2 two-room apartments, providing comfortable living conditions for military personnel and their families.

The keys to the new apartments were presented by the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kamchybek Tashiev, who emphasized the importance of the state's constant attention to the needs of border guards.

"The Border Service plays a special role in ensuring the security and territorial integrity of our country, especially in hard-to-reach high-altitude areas. The state must create decent conditions for those who guard the borders every day. We will continue to pay attention to the social support of military personnel, as their confidence and well-being directly affect the reliability of border protection," he noted.

Comfortable living conditions have been created on the territory of the new complex: children's playgrounds and sports grounds have been equipped, a boiler house with a coal storage facility and a transformer substation have been installed.

There are also reservoirs for water storage, including a reserve for fire-fighting needs and a sewage system.

In addition, the territory of the residential complex has been landscaped and greened, and internal roads and parking areas have been constructed.

As part of cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, one of the apartments was transferred to an employee of the internal affairs bodies - a police officer from the village of Karamyk in the Chon-Alai district, which contributes to strengthening inter-agency cooperation in the field of border security and law enforcement in the region.

This project aims to improve the living conditions of border guards, enhance the level of social support for military personnel, and strengthen border infrastructure in hard-to-reach high-altitude areas.

The construction of the facility was financed from the republican budget and was completed within the established timeframe, in just one and a half years.
