According to witness accounts, on the Karakol—Ananyevo—Balykchy road, between the villages of Toru-Aygyr and Kosh-Kol, the driver lost control of his vehicle.
Preliminary information indicates that on January 21, 2026, at 18:00, a resident of Bishkek, born in 1999 and named Sh.A., was driving a "BMW 330" from east to west. At the 28th kilometer of the Balykchy—Ananyevo—Karakol road, near the village of Toru-Aygyr, he lost control, which led to the car leaving the roadway and overturning.
The road incident was recorded in the electronic journal of the Issyk-Kul District Department of Internal Affairs. Currently, investigative authorities are conducting the necessary checks.
As a result of the accident, one person died, and two others sustained injuries of varying severity.
