During the ceremonial event, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, handed over the keys to 37 units of specialized vehicles to the Ministry of Energy. This information was announced by the press service of the government of the country.

In accordance with the capital construction and modernization program of the OJSC "Kyrgyzstan National Electric Network," 17 JAC-T8 crew vehicles, 8 SHANMON-388H backhoe loaders, as well as 2 45-meter high-lift platforms based on KAMAZ-43118 and 10 JAC-N56 vehicles were purchased as part of the "Modernization and Sustainable Development of the Energy Sector" project.

The total cost of this batch of equipment amounted to 145.8 million soms.

Speaking to those gathered, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the importance of developing the energy sector as one of the key directions of state policy. He also reported on large-scale projects being implemented in this area at the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov.

"The energy sector of Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating constant growth and development. We are updating hydropower capacities, modernizing hydropower plants, and extending the service life of energy facilities. This is the result of your labor. In recent years, hundreds of units of special equipment have been purchased, and I am confident that positive changes in energy will continue. Today we have handed over new equipment to you, and may it serve for the benefit of the people and the state," he noted.

It is also worth noting that in 2025, more than 160 units of specialized vehicles were purchased for the energy and coal sectors.
