The Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic held a meeting attended by Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

During this meeting, the results of cooperation for the year 2025 were discussed, as well as key areas of interaction for 2026, with an emphasis on integrating green skills into educational programs for preschool institutions, schools, and initial vocational training institutions.

The Minister highlighted the importance of integrating practical and theoretical teaching methods, as well as fostering children's awareness of the value of the products they can grow with their own hands.

Within the framework of the initiatives, projects were discussed such as the creation of school and preschool gardens, tree planting, organization of short-term courses, development of career guidance in connection with the transition to 12-year education, as well as conducting environmental and educational events.

Oleg Guchgeldiev presented projects aimed at developing school gardens and greenhouses, updating educational approaches in colleges, and implementing educational materials on food conservation issues.

The parties agreed to continue their joint work and hold the next working meeting soon.
