He replaced Aibek Artykbaev in this position and was relieved of his duties as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA.
Emilbek Abdykadyrov has become the new Akim of the Chui region.
Previously, he headed the At-Bashinsky district in the Naryn region.
