In the Suusamyr Valley, an investigation has been initiated regarding a fire in a vehicle.

According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region, on January 26, it was reported that on January 25 at 11:35, a signal was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Jayil District from the “112” service about an incident involving a truck on the 141 km of the Bishkek–Osh highway.

An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene, where it was established that the truck of the brand “MAN” belongs to a citizen O.K., born in 1981, who is engaged in the private transportation of petroleum products.

According to police data, on January 23, O.K. received an order for the transportation of fuel and lubricants (AI-92 gasoline) from one of the limited liability companies engaged in oil refining. A citizen K.A., born in 1989, was hired as the driver.

On January 25, at approximately 11:20, driver K.A., while driving the truck, was transporting 28 tons of petroleum products to the city of Osh. O.K. was also in the cabin.

While driving, the truck's front left wheel burst, leading to a loss of control, crossing into the oncoming lane, and overturning. After that, a fire broke out, resulting in the complete destruction of the vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger died at the scene.

The bodies of the deceased were sent to the morgue of the Jayil District Hospital, and examinations were appointed. The investigation is ongoing.

It is also reported that the fire did not cause damage to the environment: no leaks of petroleum products were recorded, as all fuel and lubricants burned at the scene.

The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region reminds drivers of the importance of thoroughly checking the technical condition of vehicles before long trips.
