According to the GKNB, police captain "O.G.O." used his official position to extort this amount from "K.u.O.", who was under investigation for fraud registered in December 2024.
It should also be noted that the intermediary between them was an investigator from the Aravan district police, police captain "S.N.S.", who assisted in carrying out these actions.
"O.G.O." and "S.N.S." were detained by GKNB employees together with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs while receiving 1,600 US dollars and were placed in custody in the GKNB KR detention center.
