The village of Kyzyl-Zhyldyz, which is part of the Ayil Aimak of Uch-Korgon in the Manas District, began its development in 1930.

According to the stories of the locals, the name "Kyzyl-Zhyldyz" is connected to an interesting event: a shepherd named Ashyrbay, who was herding horses, witnessed a meteorite fragment falling in a field. He perceived this as a sign of good fortune and said, "a star has fallen, happiness has come," which gave the village its name.

This settlement is located just 4 kilometers from Semetey, the district center.

As of 2025, Kyzyl-Zhyldyz has a population of 2,428 people, and the number of households is 533.

The main occupations of the local residents are related to livestock breeding and agriculture. The climate here is stable: summers are hot, and winters are cold, lasting up to three months.

The village has the following institutions:

the M. Rakhmanberdiev Secondary School, founded in 1965;

the Uch-Korgon Ayil Okmotu;

a cultural center;

a village library, opened in 1950;

a feldsher-midwife station;

a mini-football field (built in 2025).

Additionally, various sports such as kok-boru, wrestling, and volleyball are actively developing in Kyzyl-Zhyldyz.
