In Uzgen, land plots that were previously transferred to private ownership have been returned to the Salizhan Sharipov School. This was reported by the city's mayor, Eldos Taev.

According to the mayor, the issue of illegal use of land belonging to the school had raised concerns among local residents. "Some plots on the school grounds were transferred to private ownership in violation of the law, and trading points were opened on them. This posed a threat to the safety of students and also affected the preservation of the educational institution itself. As a result of an inspection conducted by the prosecutor's office of the Uzgen district, violations were identified, and an official demand for the return of the land was made. Based on this demand, the city administration and the municipal property management department began the process of removing illegally placed structures," he said.

Eldos Taev noted that the land plots related to the school are now back under the control of the educational institution. "The total area of the returned territory amounted to 289 square meters, where 9 trading points were previously located. According to specialists' recommendations, these structures can be converted into storage rooms or classrooms," added the head of the municipality.

Furthermore, the mayor emphasized that a complete inspection of the land plots of schools and kindergartens throughout the city will be conducted this year, with the aim of returning land that has been transferred to private ownership.

The area of the school has increased from 1 hectare 15 ares to 1 hectare 39 ares after the return of the land plots.
