According to the resolution issued on January 19, 2026, a plot of 5 hectares, previously used as irrigated arable land, has been reclassified from agricultural land to land designated for industry, transport, and communications, as well as other needs.
Previously, plots of 7.6 hectares and 30 hectares were also reclassified for the construction of this center.
The State Administration of the Issyk-Ata region has been instructed to ensure compensation for possible losses and lost income in the agricultural and forestry sectors, as well as to make the necessary changes to land accounting documents and strictly monitor the use of the plot according to its designation.
Furthermore, the resolution outlines requirements for the development of urban planning documentation, drainage systems, seismic safety measures, and compliance with environmental and sanitary standards. In the event that objects of historical and cultural heritage are discovered, archaeological supervision will need to be organized.
This resolution comes into effect 10 days after its official publication. The document was published in the newspaper "Erkin Too" on January 20, 2026 (issue 3).
