Teachers in Kyrgyzstan are set to be trained in working with artificial intelligence.

The Kyrgyz Republic will begin training teachers in skills related to working with artificial intelligence. This became known after a meeting held on January 29 between the country's Minister of Education, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, and the founder of Cayu AI, Zamir Akimbekov.

The Ministry of Education reported that the meeting discussed aspects of integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process. The minister emphasized the need to provide methodological support to teachers on the use of AI and highlighted the importance of early development of students' skills for conscious career choices. In this context, work on strengthening vocational lyceums in the country was also noted.

Zamir Akimbekov pointed out that artificial intelligence is developing at a tremendous pace and is already influencing the labor market. He indicated that with the automation of certain professions, there may be an increased demand in the future for specialties related to manual labor, including professions such as plumber and mechanic.

Additionally, a Day of Artificial Intelligence is planned to be held in schools across Kyrgyzstan, during which computer science lessons will focus on topics related to the development of AI, its capabilities, and its role in the educational sphere.

The discussion also touched upon the possibility of organizing training events for educators and students aimed at the effective application of artificial intelligence in the learning process and self-development using AI.

It is worth noting that Zamir Akimbekov is a Doctor of Science in Chemical Engineering, currently working in the USA in the field of business optimization using artificial intelligence. He previously participated in international chemistry Olympiads and received education at universities in Turkey and the USA.
