The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region reports that three individuals have become suspects in the theft of a sheep on the highway Osh—Bishkek near the city of Tash-Kumyr.

According to reports, a local resident, K.S., born in 1987 and originally from the village of Kyzyl-Alma, approached the city police department of Tash-Kumyr. He stated that on January 5 at 15:05, he witnessed unknown individuals in a black "Mercedes" stealing a sheep that was grazing in the pasture.

The fact of the theft has been registered by the investigative department of the Tash-Kumyr City Police in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning livestock theft, and a criminal case has been initiated.

As a result of operational measures, police officers detained the suspects, who turned out to be residents of the Batken region, born in 2002, 2003, and 2004. They have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Tash-Kumyr City Police," the official release states.

Investigative actions are ongoing.
