At the OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," a working meeting was held with representatives of the Chinese company COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China), during which the possibilities for expanding aviation cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
The main focus of the negotiations was on plans to open a new international air route from Osh to Kashgar, scheduled for April of this year. The launch of this flight aims to improve transportation accessibility between Kyrgyzstan and China, as well as to promote the development of trade, tourism, and humanitarian ties.
During the meeting, it was also mentioned that COMAC is a shareholder of Chengdu Airlines, which actively uses aircraft produced by this corporation. Flights on the Osh-Kashgar route will likely be operated using COMAC C909 aircraft.
OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" views this project as a significant step towards expanding the international route network and strengthening relations with key airlines in China.
