According to law enforcement agencies, on February 1, 2026, after celebrating a holiday, a resident of the Jalal-Abad region, J.A., born in 1981, got into a conflict with his younger brother, J.K., born in 1991, who lives in the Kara-Suu district. The main reason for the quarrel was personal disagreements.
“During the conflict, J.K., under the influence of alcohol, used a knife. As a result of the injuries sustained, J.A. died. The suspect left the scene of the incident,” the official statement noted.
Employees of the Kara-Suu district internal affairs department detained J.K. during operational search activities and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
Necessary inspections were conducted at the scene of the incident, and forensic medical and other examinations were appointed,” the agency added.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
