In the village of Ak-Jar, located in the At-Bashinsky district of the Naryn region, 30-year-old Baibolot Kamchybek uulu was able to fully pay off the debt for the sheep that died as a result of an accident.

According to local residents, on the day of the tragedy, January 2, 2026, around 4:00 PM, Baibolot was herding 820 sheep in the Kara-Tuu area, belonging to 14 owners. The sheep were frightened by dogs and, in a panic, fell off a 50-meter cliff. The length of the fall was about 100 meters.

Immediately after the incident, the owners of the animals arrived at the scene to assess the losses. After counting, it was decided that 86 sheep would be written off, and the cost of the remaining 100 would be placed on Baibolot. The total amount of damage was about 1 million soms. Since Baibolot's parents had passed away, it was difficult for him to pay such an amount on his own. Therefore, his older brothers and local residents decided to seek help from others.

Neighbors from Ak-Jar and other regions of Kyrgyzstan responded to the call for help. Fundraising took place both through bank transfers and cash. Many donated 500–600 soms, while some contributed significantly more. In the end, they managed to raise 333,648 soms. Additionally, 98 heads of livestock were collected and handed over to Baibolot.

Baibolot was able to get rid of his debts thanks to the support of his village. His fellow villager Chyngyz Tenti uulu kept track of all the collected aid in a special notebook. "The death of his parents left Baibolot in a difficult situation; he could not cover such a debt on his own. We decided to unite to help him. The residents of Ak-Jar once again demonstrated the unity of the Kyrgyz people. We collected money through the bank and in cash, and livestock was also gathered. Everyone helped as they could: some transferred 500–650 soms, while others gave more. There were also those who asked not to record their names and donated even a small amount, like one woman who had only 1 som left in her account. She said she would transfer it, and when she received her pension, she would add more," he shares.

Thus, 333,648 soms were raised through the bank, and 98 heads of livestock were also donated. Thanks to this support, Baibolot was able to fully settle his debts and is no longer in a difficult situation. "We express our immense gratitude to everyone," Chyngyz added.
